Here at M J Faint Roofers Melksham we have appointed Stallard Kane Associates as our Health and Safety consultants and regard Health and Safety as a priority. We are committed to protecting the Health and Safety of our employees, our clients, other contractors on site and the general public. Our Health and Safety Policy states our commitment to safe working and is available for viewing on request.

Alongside our on-going Health & Safety training we are committed to staff training in the latest methods and materials available as they come to market. The more traditional elements of roofing are taught “in-house” and experience is added while on site. Not unlike the traditional apprenticeship schemes, this enables a smooth transition of skills from person to person and results in a well rounded skills base for our staff to build upon. We have implemented a training program for staff, partly CITB funded and will continue to build our staff knowledge in the future.

Over the years we have established a close relationship with many clients who require periodic roof and property inspections/maintenance. This enables them to budget annually, they are reassured that their property is being supervised and that any problems are dealt with swiftly, therefore reducing the likely-hood of major repairs. We can report on different elements of individual properties that require attention and produce an action plan for the way forward based on necessity and clients needs. Being established over a long period of time has also enabled us to create links with other trades and if required contacts can be offered to our clients.
